Public Speaking Anxiety Self-Assessment
On a scale from 1 to 10 (with 10 being the highest level of anxiety and 1 being the lowest), rate your degree of anxiety for the following situations.

Once you have completed this assessment, look at those communication situations that you scored an 8 or higher and examine the possible cause of anxiety. Are the causes real or imagined? What led to your perception that those specific situations cause you anxiety? Now that you have a better understanding of what causes you anxiety, learning to manage the anxiety will increase your chances of successfully living through those moments.
